The Blossomtime Festival is a celebration of the agricultural industry in Southwest Michigan. It encompasses 24 communities in southwest lower Michigan. All 24 of the communities participate in all of the festival’s events including the Grand Floral Parade held on the first Saturday in May each year when the fruit trees are in bloom. The opening ceremony is the Blessing of the Blossoms, held outdoors in an orchard. A chartered motorcoach with all of the community queens and kings travel to the communities to promote the festival during festival week. The Grand Floral Parade is televised and is well known throughout the United States and attended by more than 250,000 visitors each year. 5K Run/Walk will take place on the morning of the Parade (May 5th).
We are pleased and proud to be Michigan’s Oldest and Largest Multi-Community festival.
