The Scott Club began as a “Reading Circle” in 1883. In 1893, the club joined with the Antiquarian Society and the Literary and Library Association in constructing our current building that still stands today. The building was designed by John Cornelius Randall and features two stained glass windows that were created in Innsbruck, Australia. Today, members meet twice monthly and offer a variety of cultural programs open to the public in this Michigan historical site.
