Speed, power, performance… Buckle up and race with the most famous toy vehicles on the planet—Hot Wheels! Be part of a dynamic race team working together to build and test the world’s fastest (and safest) speed machines, using Hot Wheels® diecast cars to experiment and play. This behind-the-scenes look at the thrilling world of racing investigates the scientific process for designing super-fast cars. Hands-on experiences, authentic race gear, and captivating memorabilia will engage families in the process of experimenting with speed, power, and performance using Hot Wheels cars and track as the their tools. In Hot Wheels TM: Race to Win TM children and families join the race team crew and explore four zones in the team garage.

Faster Than Light!:The Dream of Interstellar Light – planetarium show Dates: showing through June 12, 2022 Ticket costs: $7 adults, $5 seniors 60+, $5 youth ages 2-11; Genesee County resident Ticket costs: $3.50 adults, $2.50 seniors 60+, $2.50 youth ages 2-11. *All shows are free for members of Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium Location: Longway Planetarium, 1310 E. Kearsley St., Flint, MI 48503 (in the Flint Cultural Center Campus) Hours: 4 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday; 1 p.m. Saturday & Sunday Description: Scientists now believe that our galazy is filled with solar systems, including up to 9 billion Sun-like stars with planets similar to Earth. Astronomers are racing to find habitable worlds, including any that might exist in the neighborhood of our Sun. But, if we find one, how will we ever get there? How long will it take?
